Elizabeth was the daughter of Joseph Richardson and Elizabeth Bevan-Richardson.

Elizabeth was born on September 17, 1717 in Providence, Philadelphia (now Montgomery) Pennsylvania, USA. She married twice.

Elizabeth's first marraige was in May of 1744 to a Mr.(unknown) Pugh. They had one child, Hannah who was born before December 6, 1745 and died before Jan 3, 1749/50. Elizabeth's first husband died between 1746/1747.

Her second marraige was to Samuel Stalford on April 3, 1752. Samuel Stalford, a veterinary surgeon, born March 1, 1718 in Scotland, came to Philadelphia circa 1739.

They had three children: James (died young), Joseph, who married Catherine Pawling, and Mary, who married Edward Dougherty.

Elizabeth Richardson-Stalford, died, circa 1790, in Baumstown, Pennsylvania. Samual Stalford accompanied their son Joseph to Wyalusing, where he died March 17, 1802, aged 84 years.
