Elizabeth Swift

I am a descendant of William Swift and his second wife, Frances Waddy who settled into Caswell County, NC. I noted a reference to Empson in the lineage of Elizabeth Swift Whitaker. Way back up the line in my Swifts, in one of the allied families, there is a marriage to an Empson family. I also have a line of descent from a Bird/Empson connection of Thomas Bird and Sarah Empson who were of the New Castle, Delaware area. I am curious if either of these lines seem to link to your Swift family. As of this point, I have not linked the two references of Empson in my two families who had that connection.
