Marriage
Jane (Godfrey) Woodward married 2nd to John Cobb, and on 3 January 1726/7 she made a "deed of gift to her children, given to son Israel Woodward and daughter "Elesabeth Taff" (Bristol Co., Mass. Probate Records file Jane Cobb, Taunton 1727).[3] Additional evidence is that Robert and Elizabeth Taft named children Israel and Jane.
