In the Name of God, Amen. I, Elizabeth Warrin, being sick and weak, but in perfect mind and memory, thanks be to God for it. First of all I recommed my soul to God that gave it Hoping at the general Resurrection to obtain and and my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors and all my worldly estate now disposed of as followeth after my ( ) debts is paid.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son James Warren and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body, one negro weanch named Cato and if my son James dies without any heir lawfull begotten then for the weanch, Cato and her increase if any there should be to return to my son Samuel Warren and his heirs lawfully begotten.
Item. I give unto my son James Warren my young mare and her increase and two cows and calves and my feather bed and furniture as he commonly lyes in and at his death the feather bed to return to my daughter Mary if any of it is left.
Item. I give unto my son Samuel Warren the feather bed and furniture as I ly in and the money as John Farish is owing of me.
I constitute and ordain and desire my son Samuel Warren and my son in law Thomas Bargis to be my Ex. of my Estate and to receive ( ) debts that is out and the rest of my estate to be equally divided amongst all my children. And it is my desire that my estate shall not be brought to appraisement. This constitutes and ordain my last will and testament as witness my hand and seal this 21 day of February 1750/1.

The last will and testament of Eliza. Warrin Decd being exhibited and sworn to by Samuel Warrin and Thomas Burgis Ex. in name and the same was proved by the oaths of John Farish and James Ham and is comitted to record

Know all men by these present that we Samuel Warren, Thomas Burgess, John Farish and Hackley Warrin (Note: nephew: son of her sister, Mary Hackley, wife of Thomas Warren. Thomas Warren is also her brother-in-law) are held and firmly bound unto the worshipfull his Majesty Justice of the Peace for the County of Spotsylvania in the () sum of one hundred pounds current money to the payment whereof will and tryly to be made to the said Justices and their ( ) we bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our heirs Ex and Adm. Joyntly and severally firmly by these presents witness our hands and seals this 2 day of April 1751.
The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Samuel Warren and Thomas Burges Ex of the last will and testament of Elizabeth Warren Decd do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods and chattles of the said Decd which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of ( ) Samuel and Thomas or into the hands or possession of any other person for them and same so made do ( ) into the County Court of Spotsylvania at such time as th ey shall be thereunto required by the said court and the same goods and chattles and credits and all other goods and chattles and credits of the said Decd at the time of his death which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of any person or persons for them do will and truly administer according to law and further do make a just and true account of their actings and doings therin when thereunto required by the said court and also do will and truly pay and deliver all the legacies contained and specified in the said testament as farr as the goods, chattles and credits will thereunto extend according to the value thereof and the law will charge then this obligation to be void and of no effect otherwise to stand remain and be in full force in power and virtue.
