Elizabeth Winifred (Bird) Eccles [Convict "Lady Penrhyn" 1788]

Elizabeth (aka Winifred) BIRD was born c1742

Elizabeth was convicted of stealing (with John LOVE and Mary LOVE) and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Lady Penrhyn"

In March 1790 Elizabeth was sent to Norfolk Island on "Sirius"

Elizabeth married Thomas ECCLES in November 1791 Norfolk Island

In March 1801 they returned to Port Jackson on "Porpoise"

Elizabeth died 25 July 1835 Parramatta and was buried at on 27/5/1835 St John's Cemetery. There are 2 dates given for her death
