Ella Flora LeFevre

Ella was the daughter of Leander Houck and Anna Catherine Link Houk. She was the twin sister of Anna Dora Houk, who survived her. Ella and Anna married brothers, Ella chosing William, who died in 1936.

Ella had been more or less confined to bed for two years prior to her death. According to her death certificate, she actually died of a heart attack. Her funeral services were held at her home by the Rev. Clay Madison and Rev. L.A. Miller.

She was also survived by her daughters Mrs. A.L. Rink (Pearl); Mrs. H.W. McNeely with whom she lived; Mrs. R.M. McLean;and Mrs. J.B. Hood; one son, F.M. Lafevers; brothers: the Rev. W. Kelley Houk of Morganton;and Jerome "Sidney" Houck of Ojai, California. Inscription: MOTHER AT REST
