Ellen Klemmer was born in 25.06.1909 in Tallinn as a daughter of Karl Klemmer and Marie Luise Klemmer (maiden name Nurmsen). Her nationality was Swedish. She graduated from Tallinna Linna Saksa Tütarlaste Gümnaasium (Tallinn German Girls Secondary Scool) in 1927 and the Faculty of Medicine of Tartu University in 1935. She was a doctor in Tallinn in 1940 and local doctor in Kihelkonna, Saaremaa in 1944. She married pastor Hjalmar Fritjof Pöhl (1908-1964) in 26.07.1940 in Tallinn St Michaels Swedish-Finnish Congregation. You will find his husband also in Geni - Hjalmar-Fritjof Pöhl There are three different photos of Ellen Klemmer in her student file.
