Notes
Eleanor/Ellen/Nellie McDaniel was born 1790-1795 and died about 1819. That’s pretty much all that’s known about her. The Moravians don’t mention her, and by 1820 Richard was married to Susan.
Richard’s first wife was Nellie McDaniel, their children wree Thomas Fox Taylor, Elizabeth/Betsy Taylor Brewer, and Samuel McDaniel Taylor. Anna is a not connected to this family. She was a real person but has no connection to Chief Richard Taylor who was born 10 Feb 1788 and thus was eight years old when Anna was born.
