11 Jul 1945: Mrs. Ellen Shuey Walmer, widow of John Walmer, of Jonestown Route #2, died suddenly this morning from a heart attack. A lifelong resident of the Jonestown vicinity, she was 84 years old and the last of her immediate family. She was the former Ellen Shuey, and was a member of Walmers Reformed Church. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Elizabeth Troxel, at home; Mrs. Ralph Deitzler of Hazleton; Aaron Walmer of Harpers Tavern; Harry and Elmer Walmer, this city; Charles Walmer of Suedberg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
