TROOPER ENOCH JONES Reg No 1034 Lancashire Hussars Yeomanry Joined H M Forces August 16th 1914; trained at Knowsley Park; went to Alexandria January 5th 1916; contracted Pneumonia a few days after landing, died in Hospital in Alexandria on February 12th, 1916, and was accorded a full Military Funeral in the Village of Kantara, Egypt.
In his younger days he was a member of Holy Trinity Schools, and later became a Sunday School Teacher at the Wesleyan Church.
Medals:- British War Medal and Victory Medal.
