Enoch KENYON was born on 23 Feb 1685/86 in Westerly, Washington Co., RI.18,40 He signed a will on 7 Jun 1776 in Charlestown, RI.41 The will was proved on 2 Jul 1781 and mentions wife Ann Kenyon; sons Joseph Kenyon, Enoch Kenyon, John Kenyon and Christopher Kenyon; daughters Lois Sheffield and Ann Kenyon; grandson Joshua Kenyon, son of son Enoch Kenyon, deceased; grandson Mumford Kenyon, under 21, son of son Mumford Kenyon, deceased; grandsons Nathan Saunders and Enoch Crandall; granddaughters Sarah Austin and Sarah Crandall. The will was witnessed by Hannah Clark, Mary Worden and Joseph Crandall. He died in Sep 1780 in Charlestown, Washington Co., RI.18 He died in 1781.42

He was a yeoman.41 Enoch Kenyon was admitted as a freeman in 1715 while living in South Kingstown, RI. He was mentioned in his father's will in 1732, and in 1774, he was listed in the census of Charlestown. The military census of 1777 shows Enoch as aged ca. 60 - up.[?] He was deeded property by his father in Westerly, RI, in 1721. In 1745, he purchased land in Charlestown, RI, from George Ninigret, the brother to the Indian Tom Ninigret. He purchased more land from George Ninigret in 1762. In 1766, he conveyed land to sons Lodowick and John Kenyon in Charlestown, RI.


ENOCH3 KENYON (JOHN2, JAMES1) was born February 23, 1685/86, and died September 1781.He married (1) SARAH ELDRED 1702 in Westerly, Washington County, Rhode Island, daughter of THOMAS ELDRED and SUSANNAH COLE.She was born 1682, and died 1736.He married (2) ANN AUCKMUDY November 21, 1747 in Charlstown, Rhode Island.
