Notes
"These are the Records of my own family.”
John Lee, Senor..John Lee, sone of William and Cathren Lee was born July the 26th in the year of our Lord 1767 in Barkley County, VA, on...(probably Back or Mill Creek)...., near Garretts Town....Iseble Hays, daughter of William and Anne Hays, was born March the 7th Day in the year of our Lord 1770 in Northhampton County, Allens Township, Pennsylvania."
I have a death for Cathren as 29 November 1785. William married second, Eliza Ann Smith or Crossley and by her had Hannah born 1788. New evidence puts William at Ft. Jackson, Greene Co. PA by 1774. William and Cathren's daughter, Cathrine was born 1776 in PA and married Nathaniel Luce by 1798 in Greene County PA.
