John married Bessie (James, Donald "Ban") MacDonald, Gillis Point (see 388), lived in New Waterford, had a large family, and married a second time.

James (Donald "Ban") MacDonald settled early in Gillis Point and had a family. He and his descendants moved away. It is therefore quite difficult to get information on him and his family, but we give what we were able to piece together. His family was: Mary, Bessie, Jane, Ann, Nicholas, and another daughter. 388

Bessie married Eoin "Dunn" MacNeil, Jamesville (see 65), lived in Jamesville, had a large family, and moved to Glace Bay.
