Obituary, The Waterloo Region Record, 9 Jan. 2016: MARTIN, Ephraim M. Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the home of Lloyd Frey's. Ephraim Martin of 6540 10th Line, Minto in his 92nd year. Son of the late Joshua B. and Leah Martin. Loving father of Ananias and Sara (Weber) Martin of Gorrie; Sidney and Mary (Clemmer) Martin of Aylmer; and Mary Ann (Martin) and David Weber of Mount Forest. Cherished grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and fifty great-grand-children. Also survived by one sister Elizabeth Martin. Predeceased by his wife Annie (Weber) Martin, one daughter, one son and one great- grandson. Friends may call at the home of Lloyd Frey's, 6540 10th Line, Minto on Saturday, January 9th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 10th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A short service will be held at the home of Lloyd Frey's on Monday, January 11th at 9:00 a.m. then proceeding to the Westdale Meeting House for further services and burial in the adjoining cemetery. All are welcome to gather at the home of Lloyd Frey's for refreshments and fellowship. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
