Ernest C. Horn, 85, of New Carlisle, formerly of South Bend died March 10.
He was born in Koleen on Nov. 5, 1905 the son of Simon and Della Boone Ashcraft Horn.
In 1930 he married Mildred E. Crabb.
He began teaching at Riley High School in 1935 South Bend, retiring in 1972. He had taught in Owensburg. He received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and his master's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.
He is survived by his wife and two brothers, Evan of Mansfield, and Fred of South Bend.
Funeral services were 10 am. Wednesday. Burial was in Remington Cemetery. March 28, 1991
