About Estella Neel J Douts
Mrs. Estella J. Douts, 70, Holtwood, R2, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at her home. She had been under the care of a physician. She was the wife of Emerson Douts. She was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, the Women's Society of Christian Service and the Golden Rule Bible Class. She had been a primary Sunday School teacher for a number of years. Mrs. Douts was a member of the auxiliary to the Rawlinsville Camp Meeting Association. During World War II, she worked at RCA. Born in Providence Twp. she was the daughter of the late John F. and Addie Naomi (Beach) Miller. Surviving in addition to her husband are five step-children; Mrs. Elias Miller, Drumore; John Douts, Power Lake, ND; Elmer Douts, Oakford; Mrs. Williard Tomlinson, Pequea, RD; Charles Douts, Washington Boro; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild; two sisters, Hazel, wife of Harry Kneisley, New Providence and Mrs. Violet Sheaffer, Lancaster.
