ESTER GOLDSTEIN Mrs. Ester (Swig) Goldstein, 70, of 340 Rochester Street,widow of Levi Goldstein, died unexpectedly yesterday at a local hospital. Born in Russia, she came to this country as a child, lived the greater part of her life in Taunton and came to this city 15 years ago. Always active in civic and social organizations, Mrs. Goldstein was the founder and a former president of the Ladies Helping Hand Society of Taunton. She was a member of Temple Beth-El. this city, and the Jewish Home for the Aged here. She leaves four sons, Louis and Charles, of Taunton; Max of Hialeah, Fla., and Paul J. Goldstein of Newton Center; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Osiason of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Violet Olnick, this city, and 13 grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1 in her home. Interment will be in Mount Nebow Cemetery, Taunton.
