MRS. ESTHER SAMMONS - GIBSON Ga. - The funeral for Mrs. Esther Smith Sammons,

96, who died Saturday, will be at 2:30 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church,

Mitchell, with the Reverends Keith Jordan and Ron Warnock officiating. Burial

will be in Fellowship Baptist church cemetery.

Mrs. Sammons was a lifelong resident of Glascock county, a member of

Friendship Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Alma Mims, Augusta, Lillian McGowan,

Metter, and Sue Kitchens, Gibson; and three sons Bennie Samons, Hephzibah,

Marvin Sammons, Austell, and Bobby Sammons, Metter.

Pall bearers will be Dewey Jones, Charles Jones, Ray Mims, Don Kitchens,

Jeffery Kitchens and Eugene Sammons.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Sue Kitchens, Gibson.

Friends may call at Sheppard Funeral home until 1 p.m. today, and then at the

church.

Sammons of Gibson Ga. Funeral services will be held today, November 23, 1987

at 2:30 p.m. from Friendship Baptist Church, Mitchell with Rev. Keith Jordan

and Rev. Ron Warnock officiating. Interment in Fellowship Baptist Church

Cemetery. Additional survivors 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 14

great-great-grandchildren. Sheppard Funeral Home, Gibson Ga.
