Gibson Ga. - Tommie Lee Sammons died Saturday in Hartford N.Y. The funeral

will be at 3 p.m. today at Sheppard Funeral Home with the Revs. O. C. Hawkins

and Preston Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church

Cemetery.

Mr. Sammons was a native of Glascock County and a retired factoryworker.

Survivors include a daughter Dean Cartrett, Moultrie; two sons Gene Sammons,

S.C., and John Sammons, Utica N.Y., his mother Esther Smith Sammons, Gibson,

three sisters, Alma Mims, Augusta, Lillian McGowan, Metter, and Sue Kitchens,

Gibson, and three brothers, Bennie Sammons, Hephzibah, Marvin Sammons, Austell,

and Bobby Sammons, Metter.

Pall bearers will be Harris Smith, Don kItchens, Olin Downs, Jim Kendrick,

Allen Wilson and George O. Allen.

Friends may call at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Felts Kitchens, Gibson, or

the funeral home.
