About Esther Spencer
Corp. Thomas Spencer, Jr., b. circa 1641, d. July 23, 1689 at Suffield (age not stated), until 1749 part of Hampshire County, Mass., but now in Conn.; m. Esther Andrews, dau. of William Andrews and Abigail Graves, b. Sept. 1641 at Hartford. She d. Mar. 6, 1697/8 at Suffield, Mass, now in Conn. Six known children of the family.
She and husband Thomas Spencer were founders of Suffield. Their descendants are memorialized on the sides of the Spencer-King family monument.
Until 1749, Suffield was part of Hampshire County, Mass.
