About Ethel Rhoda Torontow
MRS. A. R. TORONTOW. An esteemed member of the Jewish community here, Mrs. A. R. Torontow, widow of Abraham Raphael Torontow, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Dover, at 349 Somerset street east. She was in her ?lst year. Mrs. Torontow was formerly Miss Ethel Rhoda, of Ottawa, and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. D. Dover, Ottawa, and Mrs." A. Saslove, Detroit; eight sons. Jack Torontow, London, England; Joseph, Samuel, Louis. Mote, Harry, Saul, and Michael, all of Ottawa; 23 grandchildren, and one great grandchild, all of Ottawa. The funeral was held from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. D. Dover, 349 Somerset ttreet east, thlt afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. J. Mirtky and Cantor J. Rabbin officiated.
