About Ethel V Morris
If guessing right - Ruby Lee (--) Dayhoff was adopted at about age of 4 abut c. 1936 and Kathyrn Louise Rogers (Rodgers) about age of 7 about 1935 After Louie's adopted mother died her deceased sister's husband's 2nd wife produced the adoption papers for her and her sister. They were found within her adopted mother's possessions, it is assumed the sister's husband and family got the adoptive parents home or farm - unsure. Louise never realized she had been adopted and did not learn that she was adopted till sometime after 6 Jul. 1979 when her mother died - when the brother-in-laws 2nd wife found the adoption papers amongst Ethel's things when sorting out stuff for both Louise and her sister Ruby, who had died years before. I was told that she presented them to Louise.
