OBITUARY
LATE MR. E. DRAGE FUNERAL AT NORTHAMPTON The funeral of the late Mr. Eusebius Drage, of 'Trevensen,' who died at his home near Northampton on Wednesday after a short illness, took place in the Anglican portion of the Northampton Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased, who was born at Northampton, had for very many years been associated with the pastoral and agricultural life of the northern areas, and was well-known throughout the State as a breeder of stud sheep. he had taken a practical interest in the life of the community in which he had resided for so many yeare, and the large and representative gathering at the graveside was a tribute to the respect which he enjoyed on, all sides. Prior to the funeral a short service was held in the Anglican Church by flie Rev. Francis Dixon, whilst at the graveside the prayers were recited by fhe Bishop of the North-West (Right Rev. J. Frewer), with the Rev. F. Dixon as deacon. The chief mourners were Mrs. E. Drage (wife), Mr. K. Drage (son), Miss Jean Drage, Mrs. R. Magee and Miss Merle Drage (daughters), Mr. and Mrs. Ross Drage (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. Fred Drage (brother), Mr. W. Hipper (father-in-law), Mr. A. Hipper (brother-in-law), Mr. S. M. J. Hosken (brother-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. E. Chis holm, Miss D. Hipper and Miss O. Rosser. The pall-bearers were Messrs. J. Pollard, A. J. Logan, H. N. Laurence, A. Izard, H. McNamara, R. Collins, H. Simpken and T. P. Crothers, whilst the casket was borne to the graveside by Messrs. M. Davies, J. Mitchell, A. Mitchell, P. Mitchell, H. Smith and R. Williams.
