"Eva Kusters married Godschalk Godschalk, son of Jacob Godschalk, and may be a daughter of Paulus and Gertrude. Agnes W. Storer in "Eleanor C. Agnes Storer uses 'The Perkiomen Region', Whole Number 37, page 63 as her reference. This article appears to be the earliest mention of Eva as a daughter of Paulus. There is some evidence to support the claim that Paulus and Gertrude had a daughter. Eva who married Godschalk Godschalk. During the 1706-8 session Paulus had children who attended the school that Pastorius had in Germantown. Hermanus Kuster would have been too old to have been the child that Paulus enrolled in the school.

The Paulus Kuster family and the Godschalks were well known to each other since Peter Custer, son of Hermanus (1677-1760) married Godschalk's sister, Ann Godshalk and was chosen to administer the estate of his father
