26 December 1633: Act before the baillies depute of Cunningham whereby David Barclay after citation given to John Boyll of Kelburne and Ezekiel Montgomery of Weitlands, his nearest of kin on his father's side and Alexander Cunninghame, elder of Corshill and John Crawford of Crawfurdland his nearest of kin on the mother's side chooses Sir William Cunninghame of Caprington, knight, Sir David Cunninghame of Robertland, knight, bt, Alexander Cunninghame and Ezekiel Montgomery or any two of the four conjointly to be his curators. 26 August 1675: Commission by Alexander, Earl of Eglinton, Lord Montgomery and Kilwinning, heritable sheriff principal of the sheriffdom of Renfrew and baillie principal of the regality of Paisley, regality of Kilwinning and of the bailliary of Cunningham in favour of David Montgomery of Langschaw and Mr Ezekiel Montgomery of Wielands and the longest liver of them as his sheriff deputes of the said sheriffdom of Renfrew and baillie deputes of the regality of Paisley and haill bounds of the same.
