Marriage

According to James Paterson, Hugh Montgomery married "Houston's daughter". History of Ayr I: p. 290 Her Christian name is not mentioned. It is presumed that she was the daughter of Houston of that Ilk but which of the Lairds of Houston is not clear. Thomas Harrison Montgomery concurred. The Montgomery Pedigree, p. 134
