About Ezekiel Parke
Born at North Groton or Preston. He was a farmer and land owner in Preston, where he lived; having received land from his grandfather, Thomas Parke, in that town, Dec. 13, 1707. At the first meeting of the Proprietors of Preston, held June 20, 1704: "It was voted that Ezekial Parke shall have liberty to settle upon ye common land upon his grandfather's Parke account and when ye Common Land is divided then yt Ezekial Parke shall take all his grandfather's right," etc.
