About Ezra Augustus Pratt
Son of Ezra & Hannah D. Pratt and husband of Mary Fink Pratt (1st wife) & Harriet Fink Pratt (2nd wife). He donated a house and 1000 books for the first library in New Milford, PA in 1893 and paid the operating expenses until his death in 1898. His son Charles Pratt built and donated a new library building in memory of his parents in 1903 and paid for it's operation until 1927 when it was donated to the State of Pennsylvania.
