Accessing Ancient Ireland Historical Records

It’s always best to cite primary and secondary historical sources.
Several tertiary and quaternary sources cite the following ancient historical sources. These include encyclopedias in book form or online. These sources may have historically accurate and well-sourced articles or pages. However, their pages are too often academically insupportable. (Note: The worst websites to cite are online pedigrees or trees that are poorly sourced or provide no sources at all.)
Wikipedia may be a good place to find primary and secondary sources, but its webpages rate as a tertiary sources at best if author(s) are meticulous academic researchers and writers.
The best tertiary source website is The Foundation for Medieval Genealogy. I directly quotes passages from primary and secondary sources. For Ireland: [http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/IRELAND.htm]
An underused but valuable tertiary source is Ireland’s National Biographical Dictionary.' [https://www.dib.ie]
