About Fannie H. Diller

Fannie H. Diller, 93, of 1665 Mason Dixon Road, Greencastle, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, in her home. Born April 7, 1906, near Cearfoss, she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Anna M. (Horst) Risser. She and her husband, Amos H. Diller, were married June 14, 1928. Mr. Diller died Oct. 2, 1983. Mrs. Diller was a homemaker. She was a member of Paradise Mennonite Church of Hagerstown.
She is survived by four daughters, Miriam R. Horst, Rhoda R. Petre and Esther R. Martin, all of Waynesboro, and Eunice R. Diller of Greencastle; three sons, Mahlon R. Diller of Shippensburg, Paul R. Diller of Greencastle and Mark R. Diller of Carlisle; two sisters, Rhoda H. Hege and Mary H. Martin, both of Hagerstown; 52 grandchildren; 181 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jacob R. Diller, an infant granddaughter, Elaine Martin; four sisters; and two brothers.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the Miller's Mennonite Church, near Leitersburg, with the ministry of Paradise and Miller's Mennonite churches officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday in the church. The family requests that flowers by omitted.Arrangements were made by Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle.
