About Feliciano Quiogue
In 1906, Feliciano's Funeraria Salazar (along Sacristia St. in Binondo, Manila) won the city of Manila's bid for burial services for paupers at a rate of P5 for those dying from contagious diseases and P4 for those dying from other causes. Funeraria Salazar would eventually become Funeraria Quiogue. His descendants would sell the service in 2006.
His son Vicente would leave the family business to put up his own funeral and mortuary service which would eventually become known as Funeraria Nacional.
