ii. Johan or John Peter Glattfelder Johan was born in 1700. He married Salomea Salome Amberg Amberg on 23 November 1721 at Glattfelden, Zürich, Switzerland. Johan died on 21 April 1742. 1743? 1750? Died on the way to Basel, Switzerland. His body was interred in April 1742.
iii. Felix Glattfelder , III was baptized at Glattfelden, Zürich, Switzerland, on 5 June 1702. Religion. Felix was born in 1702. Felix died on 6 August 1702. His body was interred.
iv. Barbara Glattfelder. Barbara was born in 1706. Barbara died. Her body was interred.
v. Anna Margaret Margaretha Glattfelder. Anna was born circa 1707. She was baptized on 3 July 1708. Religion. Anna died on 2 September 1708. Her body was interred.
vi. Casper Glattfelder or Glatfelter, Sr. Casper was born on 8 July 1709. 25 July, 1709? He married Elizabeth Lauffer or Laufer on 3 April 1731 at Glattfelden, Zürich, Switzerland. He married Anna Maria Lauffer or Walter? 'Mary' after 1742/43 at Pennsylvania. Casper died in March 1775 at age 65.
vii. John George Glattfelder. Hons was born in 1711. He was baptized on 2 November 1711. Religion. John died on 29 December 1794 at Glattfelden, Zürich, Switzerland.

husband of Barbara Gorius Glattfelder. He is my 7th g-grandfather. Sons # 70528840 /Peter, & Casper # 38860249 on FAG. The Glattfelder family came from Glattfelden, Zurich Switzerland. Most of the Glattfelder families in America came from two brothers Casper and Johann Peter Glattfelder. They were the sons of Felix Glattfelder born 1669. The Glattfelder family originated in Glattfelden, Zurich, Switzerland. Brothers Casper (b. 1709) and Peter (b. 1700) set out for the Carolinas in 1742.

Sadly, Johann Peter drowned in the Rhine River on the way to Basel, and the two families returned to Glattfelden. The following year, the two families left again for America on the ship "Francis and Elizabeth," and arrived 30 August 1743 to Philadelphia. Both settled for some time in York County, Pennsylvania, and some of Peter's family (Felix and Rudolf) moved on to Rowan County (now Davidson County), North Carolina.

In North Carolina, the spelling of the name was changed to "Clodfelter."
