About Fern M. Clement (Hurley)
Obituary
Fern Clement, 94, died Monday, Oct. 22, 1990 at the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital. Services will be held Thursday, Oct 25, 2:00 p.m. at the Farnam Nazarene Church with Rev. John Bowlby officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam cemetery.
Music for the services will be provided by Tom Oberg and Donna Hazen, organist.
Fern Clement was born on Feb. 28, 1896, at Farnam, the daughter of Charlie and Jennie (Sayre) Hurley. She was married to Claude Clement on Aug. 15, 1915, at Ogden, Ut. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Farmam American Legion Auxiliary, Easter Rebekah Lodge #175 and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include: seven daughters, Ora (Mrs. Richard) McMichael of Farnam, Liona "Onie" Hamel of North Platte, Eva (Mrs. Fred) Meredith of Gothenburg, Clara Donner of Gothenburg, Dorothy Lange of Arlington, Deloris "Dee" (Mrs. Dick) Miller of North Platte, Peg (Mrs. Jerry) Feddersen of Gothenburg; one brother, Olin Hurley of Englewood, Co; three sisters, Ollie Webb of Grand Junction, Co, Lu (Mrs. Elwin) Maxson of Seattle, Wa, Marie (Mrs. Bill) Prentice of Leavenworth, Ks; 31 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973; two sons, Emerald and Wayne; one brother, Carl; one sister, Gladys White; two granddaughters and one grandson. A memorial has been established.
