FUNERAL. The Late Mr. F. W. R. O'Farrell. The funeral of the late Mr. Francis William Raymond O'Farrell (Long) took place in the Anglican portion of the Karrakatta cemetery on Monday, August 3. The late Mr. O'Farrell was the son of Mrs. G. H. Long and the late Mr. Francis O'Farrell, and stepson of Mr. G. H. Long. He was 21 years of age at the time of his sudden death, which occurred on July 31 as a result of an accident. Mr. O'Farrell was for seven years employed in the plumbing and engineering firm of Geo. Hill and Co., East Perth. and was well known in swimming and football circles. The cortege proceeded from the residence of his parents, 141 Labouchere-road, South Perth, to the cemetery, where, in the presence of a large gathering of friends and relatives, his remains were laid to rest, the Rev. Hall officiating at the graveside. The chief mourners were Mrs G. H. Long (mother), Mr. G. H Long (step-father), Vivian (brother), Edgar and Herbert Long (step-brothers), Keith Magee (brother in-law), Miss Florence Buckley (fiancee), Mrs. E. O'Farrell (aunt), and Miss D. O'Farrell (cousin). The pall-bearers were Messrs. Geo. Hill, J. McKie, J. McWilliams, Les. Sullur, Joe Rice and Phil SteeL
