Mrs. Florence Hastie Seaton, 76, of 325 McKinley Ave., died July 25, 1988 at home after a short illness. She was retired from the state Department of Mines. She was a member of Village Chapel Presbyterian Church, Kanawha City. She was former president of Charleston Woman's Club and was a member of Fort Hill Garden Club, Eastern Star and Reach to Recovery. She was a 62 year resident of Charleston. Surviving: brothers, James J. Hastie of Charleston, Leonard Hastie of Fremont, Ohio. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dean K. Young officiating. Burial will be Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Reach to Recovery Program or American Cancer Society, 2428 Kanawha Boulevard, Charleston, W.Va. 25316.
