Florine N. Reed

Florine N. Reed, 72, of 8008 Lydia Ave., died Aug. 26, 1987 at Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Plad, Mo., and lived in Kansas City most of her life. Mrs. Reed worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 25 years and retired as a supervisor in 1978. She was a member of the Marlborough Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Clifford Reed, Peculiar in Cass County; two daughters, Loretta Clark, Collins, Mo., and Judy Gibson, Corning, Calif.; three sisters, Mary Lauritzen, Independence, Pauline Jones, Raytown and Willetta Smith, Prairie Village; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Muehelbach Chapel; burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel.
