Obituary- "Mrs. Flossie A. Forney, 71, wife of Chester R. Forney of Kittanning RD 3, died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 1962 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Forney was born August 31, 1890, at Claysville, Washington County, a daughter of James Turner and Elizabeth S. "Lizzie" (Yost) Newell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Kittanning.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Fisher, Black Lick; a son, William B. Forney, Kittanning; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Maude Williams, Ford City RD 1.

Friends may call at Merwin funeral home after 7 this evening. Family visitation hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Reverend William Newson, Pastor of the Salem Baptist Church, Walk Chalk will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the family plot in West Glade Run Presbyterian Cemetery."
