Obituary.

WILLIAM ROBINSON.

There has passed away to his eternal reward a man who was for half a century identified with the dairying industry in Kiama.

He was one of the pioneer dairymen of Illawarra, having arrived here a young man from his native home in the County Fermanagh, Ireland, upwards of 65 years ago.

He was a man possessed of an iron constitution, and in the early days of the primitive bush could swing an axe with any man on the land.

He married a Miss Morrow, who proved a good and faithful helpmate, and the pair commenced dairying at Omega, near Kiama, where a large family of sons and daughters were reared into man and womanhood.

About ten years ago the old couple left Kiama and went to reside in Sydney, where Mrs. Robinson died a few years ago.

Tho deceased gentleman passed over to the Great Beyond at tho ripe age of 87 years, at the residence of his son-in-law, "Iona,' Rocky Point road, Kogarah, on 18th December, 1915.

OBITUARY

The death occurred at Kiama Hospital on 25th September of Miss Sarah Francis Robinson, aged 89 years. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson, of Omega, she had lived with her niece, Mrs. C. R. Chittick, of Lemon Grove, Kiama.

She was also an aunt of Mrs. A. Alexander, of Jerrara, Mrs. V. Waters and Mr. H. Vance, of Saddleback.

The funeral left the Methodist Church Kiama for the Kiama Cemetery the following day after a service conducted by Rev.. R. J. Cashin. Mr. K. Kendall had charge of the funeral arrangements.
