Daughter of Col. Henry Ashton and his wife, Elizabeth Hardidge. Married Capt. George Turberville, April 24, 1718, Westmoreland Co., Virginia. He was son of John Turberville. He died in 1742 at "Hickory Hill", Cople Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia. Frances died at age 21 years and was mother to one child.

Inscription on her tombstone: "Underneath this stone is layd In hopes of a joyful refurrection the body of Frances Tubervile firft child of M: Henry Ashton by Eliz: his wife and was married to George Tuberville Gentleman the 24 of April 1718 by whom she had one child, a daughter Elizabeth on the 12 of January 1719. She was dutiful daughter a faithful wife a tender mother and with a Christain Good will to all. She resigned her soul to God in Faith the 21 April 1720 in the 21 year of her age"

She is buried at Nomini Plantation which is private property.
