Frances Wachowiak

Obituary: Miss Frances B. Wachowiak, 77, a resident of St. Anne Hospice for six years, formerly of 959 E. King St., died Sunday at 12:10 p.m. at the hospice following a long illness. She was a retired employee of the Arthur L. Roberts hotel system and worked in various capacities in several different hotels within the system. She was born here February 19, 1891, to Joseph and Katherine Bonik Wachowiak and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Surviving are: three brothers, John and Peter, Winona; and Frank, Athens, Ga.; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Stella) Hildebrandt, Winona; Mrs. Edward (Tekla) Picago, Milwaukee, Wis.; and Miss Gertrude Wachowiak, Winona. Her parents, two brothers and two sisters have preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. N.F. Grulkowski officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
