About Katarzyna Wachowiak
Obituary: Mrs. Katherine Wachowiak, 77, 959 East King Street, died at 8PM Thursday at her home after an illness of a year. She had been seriously ill for two weeks. Mrs. Wachowiak was born in Poland November 25, 1868, and had lived here 62 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart and Rosary Societies of St. Stanislaus Church. Survivors are four sons, Leonard, John and Peter, Winona, and Frank at home; four daughters, Frances and Gertrude, at home; Mrs. Frank (Stella) Hildebrandt, Winona, and Mrs. Edward (Tekla) Picago, Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Jacob Jereczek, Winona. Funeral services were at 9AM Monday at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rev. N.F. Grulkowski officiated Pallbearers were Jacob Gliszczynski, John Zakrzewski, Frank and Alphonse Jereczek, Mark Tybora and Robert Styba. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
