Found a Frank Stampfler, mason, house 49 Kirby in the 1897-98 Battle Creek - Albion - Marshall Directory in the Battle Creek City pages. He is also in the 1899-1900 BC directory, same info, page 167. UPDATE: per 1920 census, this Frank was a mason.
