Frank William Haskel Washington, 76, died Friday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elmer C. Hess, 507 Front St., following illness.

Mr. Washington was born February 15, 1869, near Point Pleasant, W. Va., and had made his home in Marietta since 1914. He was a cabinetmaker, and until his retirement in 1934 was employed at the Brickwede Bros. Co. plant. He was a member of the Gallia County Council No. 1114, Daughters of America, Gallipolis.

Mr. Washington's wife, Mary Duncan Washington of Gallipolis, whom he married March 15, 1891, is deceased. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer C. Hess of Marietta and Mrs. Emmett J. Shelton of Wheelersburg. There are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Doudna and McClure's. Interment will be made in Pine St. cemetery at Gallipolis.
