Frank Fox native of Dunmore was a well known Gaelic Footballer and Athlete. He won an All Ireland Senior Gaelic Football medal with Galway in 1934. He died following an appendicitis operation in 1939. He was a Bus Driver based in Galway and single. The Galway Senior and Junior trophy's are named after him. They were donated by his family to the Galway Football Board in 1951.
