An Inquest perhaps - Coroner Schafer Not Decided Whether to Hold one on the Death of Frank Kolter - HARD TO GET THE EXACT FACTS - Coroner Schaefer had not decided at 4 o'clock this afternoon whether or not to hold an inquest over the remains of Frank Kolter who met his death last evening as the result ol being run over by a Milwaukee & St. Paul car. The coroner has been investigating the matter today, but has not been able to get all the informatlon he desires. Unless more is forthcoming he may decide lo hold an Inquest, but this will not be before Monday.

Frank Kolter, sixty-six years old residing at 877 King street east met his death last evening as the result it Is supposed of falIing from a box car In which he was sweeping out the grain, onto the track when a switch engine bumped into the car. He broke one leg in the fall and the other member fell upon the rail and was run over above the ankle and. crushed badly. The physician In charge was not allowed to amputate the crushed leg and he passed away last evening at 10 o'clock. It had been the custom of Kolter to enter emptied grain cars to sweep them for chicken feed and this it is claimed was what he was doing when the accident happened near his home on Wall street.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning from St. Stanislaus church at 9 o'clock. Mr Kolter is survived by a wife and ten children, five daughters and five sons, all grown up, as follows: The Mesdames, August Slagge, Al. Cierzan, John Ziwickl, and John Grulkowski, of Waumadee, Wls; and Miss Helen Kolter, Messrs. Henry John, Jacob, Joseph, and Stanislaus Kolter.
