Frank Stiles

Frank is thought to have died while a young man, working on the Cleremont property of his uncle, Ernie WOOD. [Peter G. 04Jun2008]

Discussion with Eva FOURRO (nee CHEW) suggests that Frank may have died somewhere between 1922 and 1926. Eva recalls her mother, Lucy, receiving a letter informing her of Frank's death while the family was living at 18 Arthur Street, Howard, which would put the date at some time around 1924, +/- 2yrs. However, no corroboration of this can be found in searching the Queensland Historical Indexes between 1897 and 1929. [Peter G. 07Dec2008]
