Franz Heinrich Taborsky

Franz Heinrich Taborsky, an Austrian musician, was descended from a family of musicians. His father was a kapellmeister (ref.)

A blog from an unknown source provides unverified personal and professional information and profile photo about Taborsky. Among those details is his work as a music teacher, pianist, and compositor; his service in the Austrian-Hungarian army during WW1; and his marriage with the granddaughter of famous musician Herman Wolfsthal:

      " After disarmament I started as a pianist and music teacher, but after my marriage with the granddaughter of the music professor Hermann Wolfsthal (also a very widespread family of musicians) I turned more and more to composition."

The referenced bride was Regina Somerfeld, daughter of Bertha Somerfeld (who was the first child of Herman Wolfsthal). Regina resigned from the Jewish faith in 1924 and married Heinrich Taborsky in Christian marriage.

By August 2019, the headstone of Heinrich and Regina Taborsky was no longer present at their burial place in Zentralfriedhof, possibly because the upkeep of the grave has been discontinued.
