Family
Oliver Kingsley was born in 1705, the son of Nathaniel and Christian (Cole) Kingsley.[1]. He married Freelove Hale on 31 December, 1729, in Swansea.[2]

Lydia Kingsley was the widow of Oliver Kingsley,[1] with whom she had 5 children, when she married Jotham Carpenter, widower of Mehitable Thompson, with whom he had eight children in 1748.[2]
Freelove Hale and Jotham Carpenter had an additional four children:
- Freelove, born 1749, married Job Whipple;
- Jotham III, born 28 Nov 1750, married Hannah Gulley;
- Oliver, born 15 Nov 1753, married Joanna Ballou; and,
- Desire, born 26 Oct 1755, married William Lang.
