About Friedrich Christian August Kleinsteuber
Dec 2015 - A note from Bernhard Klein in Germany; pachtet am 17.06.1828 die herrschaftliche Schneidemühle in Tambach steht in Geschäftsbeziehungen zu Johann Michael Raab Schultheiß und Mühlenbesitzer, or in English translation = leases on 17.6.1828 the grand Schneidemühle in Tambach is in business to Johann Michael Raab mayor and mill owner
From descendant Susan Huff Remund: The only things that I know for sure about Johann Jacob Kleinsteuber is his birth and death dates and the name of two of his sons, Frederick Christian August Kleinsteuber born 1802 and Ernst Wilhelm Gottfried Kleinsteuber born 2 August 1770 death 17 January 1845. Ernst was mint master in Dresden and he had a coin made with his image on it. I have one of those coins. It has been in the family for several generations now with the story of who he was and that he was Fredericks brother. You were the one who found his wife and family.
