GROETHAUSEN 1.HERMAN GROETHAUSEN

   John Greathouse, a son of Wilhelm and Barbara Groethausen, was

born February 13, 1756 and died in Harrison County VA (WV) in 1838.

John served the Colonies in the American Revolution in Captain

Kilgore's Company of the 8th Pennsylvania Regiment. He received a

pension for his services beginning in 1816. His wife is unknown.
